Empowering Connection works with a range of individuals with justice system involvement or Forensic History. We believe that all people have the right to high quality and empowering supports regardless of socioeconomic factors, Forensic History, or community stigma.

We use industry best practices to enable people with Forensic or justice involvement to connect and thrive!

We offer Mental Health Support Work, Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, Support Coordination and Specialised Support Coordination

Our specialised services aim to help you develop the necessary skills to comprehend and utilise your NDIS plan effectively, whilst navigating challenging and changing involvement with governmental systems. A Support Coordinator will collaborate with you to ensure a diverse range of supports are used to enhance your ability to maintain relationships, manage service delivery tasks, achieve greater independence, and actively participate in your community.

Specialist Support Coordination represents an advanced level of support intended for individuals facing complex circumstances that require specialised assistance. A Specialist Support Coordinator will help you navigate challenges within your support system and ensure consistent service delivery.

Your Support Coordinator will help you:

  • Understand and use your NDIS plan

  • Make the most of your funded supports

  • Access community and mainstream services

  • Build your ability to become more independent

  • Connect with people in your life such as family, friends and carers to help you achieve your goals

  • Connect with providers, and

  • Decide when you want to access supports and services, and how much you want to pay for these
