NDIS Personal Care and Assistance with Daily Living

Empowering Connection provides personalised Daily Living services tailored to meet the specific needs of each participant. Our committed team works closely with individuals to enhance their daily routines, covering personal care, assistance with household tasks, and community access. These services aim to promote independence and improve quality of life within the NDIS framework.

Personal Care supports may be needed in different situations, such as when a participant is living independently, with family or others, engaging in social, recreational, educational, or work-related activities, or while on holidays away from home.

Personal Care supports can look like assistance with:

• Personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing and grooming

• Toileting, bladder and bowel management and menstrual care

• Eating and drinking

• Attending appointments

• Use of aids and appliances, hearing and communication devices

• Mobility and transferring

• Application of splints, basic first aid due to injuries sustained as a result of a participant’s disability
